WHAT IS A CARBON FOOTPRINT REDUCTION?
At Bombardier we are proud to continue supporting the strengthening of an important habitat in the Sierra Gorda, in line with our objective to be a responsible corporate citizen, as well as a committment since our arrival in Querétaro, to the local community and its´ environmental well-being.
We decided to make our event Carbon Neutral because helping to maintain and develop forests will move the country towards peace. The violence that we complain about, so often, starts when land owners abandon rural zones, find no opportunities and turn to violence.
At Dreams Jade we recognize the work of the Sierra Gorda community to face the environmental crisis that affects the entire planet. From the Mexican Caribbean we are grateful for the mitigation work that they do that also works for their community´s comprehensive development. We are aware that forests are the best tools to regulate the climate.
Now Sapphire is a hotel that integrates conservation iniatives, like that of the formally recognized programs of our ally protecting ecosystems in the Sierra Gorda. We know that every grain of sand makes up a beach, and each small sustainable action contributes to a more just and equitable society; which shall be our best legacy.
